The year was 2014. Two friends, Amrit and Harman, were studying at university and driving trucks part time. They quickly realised that there was an opportunity in the market for truly customer-led logistics. Where drivers’ safety remained paramount, and the quality of vehicles second to none.
So, they took a leap of faith and pooled their money together to purchase their first truck. First, the two worked as tow operators and transported linehaul freight. But with their clear vision, strong determination and plenty of hard yakka, the Hawk Logistics journey began.
Today, the business employs more than 500 employees, including drivers and a dedicated team of management staff. They’re responsible for transporting goods and produce right across the Australian Eastern Seaboard.
With depots strategically located in Melbourne, Sydney, Griffith, and Adelaide – Hawk Logistics is ready to expand and take on the next adventure.
